Ananas e-commerce is a startup founded by Delta Holding to connect shoppers and merchants on a reliable e-commerce platform. We are using the latest technology and innovation to make online shopping simple, easy, and always available.

We are aiming to become the biggest e-commerce platform in the Ex-YU region. Starting with Serbia, we are determined to shortly after be present on the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia. The platform launch is planned for summer 2021.

SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER

SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be working on our microservices for various domains - search, recommendation, order management, and payment.

Key responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining microservices for various domains, including search, recommendation, order management, and payment. Optimize and improve existing microservices to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Producing reusable, clean, high-quality code; Writing unit and integration tests, analyzing performance, and providing recommendations for code and design optimizations.
  • Creating libraries, exposing APIs and ensuring memory optimized communication between system components. Maintaining documentation for developed features, APIs, and system architecture.
  • Performing code reviews and mentoring younger team members.
  • Contributing to the architectural design and technical decisions that drive the future development of the platform.
Competencies:

5+ years of experience in backend, Java based development

  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  • Expertise in RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and tools for version-controlled database migrations.
  • Experience with ORM solutions (JPA or Hibernate)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools

Description:

As a IT Help Desk Operator you will provide first-level application support to users, diagnosing and resolving issues, and escalating critical incidents. Additionally, it includes managing the problem resolution process, communicating with development teams and partners, and monitoring the SLAs.

Key responsibilities:

Application support. Provide first-level application support to internal and external users, following defined incident management processes, instructions, and SLAs; Perform triage, diagnose, and resolve application issues for users; Escalate incidents according to defined escalation processes and manage the critical incident resolution process.

  • Problem resolution. Manage the problem resolution process at various support levels, including communicating with development teams and external partners to efficiently resolve issues; Resolve complex incidents and test application functionality after applying fixes or additional configurations to verify reported issues.
  • Monitoring and reporting. Monitor agreed service level agreements (SLAs) based on predefined metrics (KPIs). Report on incident management process performance and contractual obligations of external partners.
Competencies:

1+ years of experience in IT Help Desk / IT Support or similar

  • Experience in level 1 support and resolving complex issues and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with IT Service Management tools (preferably Jira) and system monitoring

As a Mobile Engineer, you will be a collaborative member of a fast-growing team that develops a brand-new mobile app for buyers. The mobile application allows our customers seamless processes, including item search and selection, order management, and payment processing.

You will have an extraordinary chance to work on applications that are used by people around you and craft an exceptional buying experience for all of them.

Key responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain applications for multiple platforms using React Native.

  • Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UI across both mobile platforms – Android and iOS.
  • Develop React Native modules with the highest level of code reusability and efficiency.
  • Produce reusable, clean, high-quality code and create automated tests to check that your code is error-free and that it performs well.
  • Integrate mobile apps with the core platform using GraphQL and work on integration with existing data APIs.
  • Participate in the implementation of new features and initiatives for Ananas mobile app
  • Participate in troubleshooting, resolving bugs, and continuously improving the app’s performance.
Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering field.

  • 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on React Native.
  • Proven experience in developing mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of React fundamentals, such as the virtual DOM, component lifecycle, and component state.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Proficiency in type checking and unit testing.
  • Knowledge of native build tools, such as Android Studio and Xcode.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and the document request model.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of OOP and understanding of Java and Objective C programming languages.

  • Regularly reporting on the results of the Contact Center's work.

Description:

 As a DevOps Engineer/SRE, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS services. You will be an integral part of our team that literally serves as a "basket" for our exotic microservices that are building the Ananas ecosystem. This position offers you a unique opportunity to implement the best practices in Cloud, DevOps, and SecOps, building Infrastructure as Code and ensuring the reliability and high performance of our in-house built platforms. Challenging, isn't it?

Key responsibilities:

Automate daily tasks and help development teams to maintain and optimize apps & microservices hosted on AWS. Work on improving the configuration and automation of software code delivery efficiency.

  • Manage software components' build/test/release/deployment cycles and their deliveries. Work with development teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • System health and alerting. Implement the efficient monitoring and alerting system; Identify and collect metrics.
  • Site Reliability: Support the core infrastructure for our existing test and production environments and participate in on-call rotation to assist other engineers in quickly debugging and resolving production-related issues.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation. Stay up to date with the latest DevOps/AWS know-how technologies and incorporate the learning into Ananas processes.
Competencies:

3+ years of experience in: DevOps, CloudOps, System Administration, SRE or Development

  • Extensive experience with AWS and/or other Cloud technologies
  • Strong background in Linux (Command line, Bash scripting) and proficiency in networking
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and any of container runtimes
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform)
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD, GitLab or similar)
